Rules Of Library

  • The student must maintain silence in the library.
  • Every student will hold one card which is not transferable. A book is issued for one week, but within a week, the student should return the book otherwise a fine is levied.
  • Duplicate card will only be issued on a payment of Rs. 5/-
  • Every student should return the card before the session ends.
  • A book can be re-issued only once.
  • Every class has a day on which the books will be issued. It is compulsory for every student to read books from library.
  • Students can return the book during library period and students who want to borrow a book should fill up the entries on their cards and leave them with the librarian. They can collect the book from the library during the library period. There will be an overdue charge of Rs. 1/- per day per book, if a book is kept longer than the specified period.
  • The loss or damage to the book will be realized along with a special fine.
  • Only one volume can be borrowed at a time. Periodicals and References books are not issued.
  • Books taken for home must be returned on the date (within two weeks). Otherwise a fine of Rs. 15/- per week (Rs. 2/- per day) will have to be paid until the cost of book is realized.
  • Books scribbled upon, torn or otherwise damaged defaced or lost must be paid for a rate to be determined by the librarian.
  • A student who may take T.C. (from the School) is requested to clear his/her library dues in time and returns all books. The above regulations are meant to make the working of the library successful for the benefit of the students.
  • Books issued should be returned before the final exam.
  • Every student is expected to follow strictly the guidelines given by the librarian.
